Well, hello there!
Yeah, I am still exhausted! I just can't get rid of this cold! Oh well.
Man, can't believe it is already January 6th! WOW, What happened to the first week of 2010?
We have kicked the Mexican theme at our house... we had Taco Salads, then Taco Pizza and then Monday night we had Enchiladas...
Tomorrow will be busy for me. First I have to get Buddy to the vet... he will be getting a teeth cleaning and/or removal. Then Ethan & I are going to his transitional Preschool open house. After that I will be joining Blake at his school for lunch (I hope it's good - I always hated school lunches when I was little). Finally I will head into work.
So yes, Ethan will be attending a "Preschool" every Thursday until the end of May. Tonight he was so excited to go to Target and buy a backpack. He also got to buy Scooby Snacks... and had to try some after dinner. So far he is saying he doesn't want to go to school, but we will see, I think he might actually like it. Somehow I managed to place two boxes of Christmas ornaments into my cart... WHY?? WHY?? WHY?? ummmm, because they were 90% off and pretty... ugh, stupid, I don't even need ornaments! Note to you and self: don't tell Ken :)
Anyone else watching the Bachelor? What a bunch of crazy chics! Ken & I are playing a little game. Before the 1st rose ceremony we each picked 3 girls that we think have the chance of making it to the end... we had two matches! YES... we are dorks :) Wonder who will win? What is your pick?
Now we are just waiting for American Idol to start... I am so excited to see what Ellen does with her spot, I just love her!
Well I don't know about you, but me need sleepy!

Goodbye 2009 - Hello 2010!!
Happy New Year!!
I hope everyone had a nice New Year's Eve. I know I did.
We had a fabulous time at my mom & dad's. We played Apples to Apples and Tory won both games!... how does that happen?? It's alright, all that matters is that I was with my family and we were having fun! Dinner was fantastic, as always. Steak & Shrimp fondue and crab legs... wish I could have that meal weekly!
Yesterday went too fast as well. I leisurely cleaned the kitchen and did laundry. I didn't do too much though as I knew that today I would be taking down the Christmas stuff and would be doing a good dusting (YUCK!) and vacuum. In the afternoon we headed out to Park Tavern in St Louis Park to bowl and have dinner with Ken's work (OlympiaTech). It was fun and the kids had a blast - wish I would have remembered my camera to capture Ethan's first time :(
We came home to -7 degree weather... on the way home I said to Ken "Do you ever wonder why we live here? People who don't have "winters" must think we are nuts." After short discussion we both decided that we really don't mind the winter and we would miss it if we left it!
So we got home probably around 8:30 and had good intentions of it being a movie night, but then I decided to take a Sudafed for my plugged ears and it made me sleepy, so Ethan and I cuddled on the couch and watched Calliou and then went to bed.
Here I am, on the computer, which helps me procrastinate... I found a good Taco Pizza recipe for dinner tonight and off I go to take down our Christmas decor... this always makes me sad. I love having Christmas decorations up and the tree lit, it makes the house that much more peaceful and cozy. Christmas is so magically and I always hate to "box it" up for another year. I am glad that I hold it in my heart all year long!
I am so excited for 2010 - I just know that this will be a GRAND year for our family!
I wish only the best for all of you as well!

Welcome :)
Hi Everyone!
I have no idea what I am doing.... and I am not a writer, so we will see how far I can go with this!
~ Thought I would start this so that family & friends not near are able to see what we are up to. Kind of like a little family journal or something...?? who knows~
...So it's Wednesday and I am soooo tired I can't wait to hit the pillow tonight! This cold is kicking my butt! I'm just gonna run home and grab the kiddos and make a Target run. (I hate that place, by the way)
Yesterday was Ken's birthday. I made him Taco Salad by request, and then I made him a cake. For some reason he just loves the boxed cake and frosting from the little can...
After dinner we all watched Aliens in the Attic. That is a cute movie. Glad Santa brought that for us! While watching the movie Ethan and I snuck upstairs to put candles in the cake and light them so we could sing to Daddy. Ethan thought this was great! Ken thought I was crazy, but it was fun for Ethan :)
I can't wait until tomorrow!! I work a 1/2 day and then it's off to my mommy & daddy's for our annual New Year's Eve tradition of Fondue and crab legs!! Can you say "YUMMY"?
I may be a little biased, but I really do believe I have the best parents!!
Anyways if I am not back tomorrow I wish everyone a VERY safe and FUN New Year's celebration!!
